Hi, I’m Ali. I’m a multiplatform editor for the Emerging News Products team at The Washington Post, where I get to live the dream and make stories for Snapchat and Instagram.
Prior to The Post, I worked at U.S. News & World Report for nearly five years, where I reported on education and handled Web production duties as a digital producer. I’m passionate about creating new experiences for readers, and have managed social media accounts for prominent news organizations.
I’m a 2013 graduate of Towson University. There, I was the founder and the editor-in-chief of the Towson chapter of HerCampus.com, an online women’s magazine. During my senior year at Towson, I created Buster & Ellie, an online magazine for people figuring out their 20s.
Thanks for stopping by,
